The New Albany Symphony Presents Messiah – Sensory Friendly Performance
New Albany Symphony Chorus and guest soloists
Hear the famous Hallelujah Chorus sensory friendly style!
Join us for a sampling of the Messiah, Handel’s most famous work. While the Messiah is usually performed during the holiday season, it actually premiered in April 1742, during the Easter season.
NASO’s sensory friendly performances are a great introduction to the orchestral repertoire in a forgiving environment. Anyone is welcome to attend, but these concerts are designed specifically for those on the autism spectrum, young families, and our friends in the dementia/Alzheimer’s communities.
PLEASE NOTE: NASO recommends that masks be worn inside the McCoy Center whenever possible, but we do not require audience members to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test. For the most current information, visit https://newalbanysymphony.com/covid-update/
